The short version

Finding these controls. Open the Profile screen — tap your name in the top-right corner of the main menu, or go to Settings → *Manage Account*. The Account section there holds sign-in, the statistics toggle, and account deletion.

What we collect and why

Account identifier. On first launch the game signs you in anonymously through our backend provider (Supabase). This creates a random account ID (a UUID) tied to your installation, used solely to associate your saved progress with your device so it can be backed up and restored.

Email address — only if you choose to sign in. Playing as a guest requires no email. If you create an account with an email and password, or link a Google account, your email address is stored by our authentication provider so you can sign back in and restore your progress on another device. Linking Google uses your Google account only to establish sign-in; we do not read your contacts, Drive, or any other Google data. You can play the entire game without ever doing this.

Game progress (cloud save). To back up and sync your progress we store data such as: unlocked content (heroes, realms, relics, cosmetics, achievements), your soft currency ("platinum") balance and transaction history, run and match statistics, loot-chest openings, tutorial completion, and gameplay preferences. This is linked to your account ID.

Display name and friend code — only if you use the social features. When you sign in, the game can generate a short friend code and let you set a display name. These exist so other players can find and recognise you. See "What other players can see" below.

Friends. If you add a friend, we store the connection between the two accounts and whether the request is pending or accepted.

Co-op sessions. If you play co-op, we store a short-lived record of the session: which two accounts are playing together, the realm, and the shared random seed that keeps both games in step.

Leaderboards. If you play a daily or weekly challenge while signed in, we store your score for that challenge so it can be ranked. Guest accounts are excluded from leaderboards.

Referrals. If you join through a friend's invite, we store which account referred which, once, so the reward can be granted.

Anonymous gameplay statistics (you can turn this off). To understand how the game is actually played and where it is too hard, we record non-identifying summaries of finished runs — the outcome, the realm and hero, how far you got, your longest chain, blocks matched and damage dealt. This contains no message content and nothing you typed. You can switch this off at any time — open the Profile screen and untick "Share anonymous gameplay stats". Turning it off stops these records being sent.

Practice-mode benchmarks. If you use the Training Dummy, we record the loadout you tested (hero, ability, relic and charms, with their levels) and the resulting damage numbers. This is used to balance the game.

Crash and error reports. When the game hits an error, we record the app version, your platform (for example Android or iOS), the error text, and technical context about what was happening at the time. This is used to fix crashes.

Feedback you send. If you use the in-game feedback form, we receive the message you write plus basic technical context attached automatically to help us reproduce issues: your device model, operating system/platform, the app version, and — only when you submit feedback during a run — non-personal gameplay context (such as the current realm, hero, and run seed). Feedback is optional; we only receive it if you choose to send it.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone/camera input, or advertising identifiers.

What other players can see

Almost everything above is private to your account. These are the exceptions:

Playing as a guest shares nothing with other players. Guest accounts cannot appear on leaderboards, and the social features require signing in. Choose a display name you are comfortable with others seeing — you can change it at any time in the Profile screen.

How your data is stored and processed

Game data is stored using Supabase, a third-party backend platform that provides authentication and database hosting on our behalf (a data processor). Your data is protected by per-account access rules so that one account cannot read another's data, except for the limited items listed under "What other players can see". Supabase processes this data under its own terms and privacy practices; see https://supabase.com/privacy.

If you sign in with Google, Google acts as the identity provider for that sign-in; see https://policies.google.com/privacy.

The gameplay statistics described above are collected by us through our own backend rather than through a third-party analytics SDK.

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except:

Data retention and deletion

We keep your saved progress for as long as your account exists so you can resume playing. You can delete everything at any time:

Feedback submissions and crash reports may be retained after account deletion for bug-tracking purposes, but are unlinked from your account at deletion so they are no longer associated with you.

Children's privacy

The game is not directed to children under the age required by your local law (for example, under 13 in the United States), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

All of these live on the Profile screen (tap your name in the top-right of the main menu, or Settings → *Manage Account*):

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access or correct your data. For those requests, email us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, surface a notice in the game.
